Israel and Gaza
The war between Israel and Hamas is inflicting deep wounds on Israelis and Palestinians and fuelling mistrust and hatred between the two peoples. The consequences of this war are also profound in the rest of the world; the increasing hardening, the increasing hatred, against Jews, against Muslims.
No one should be held personally responsible for the actions of others – not for the actions of fellow citizens, fellow believers, or for the policies of a government. Jews are not responsible for the policies of the Israeli government, Muslims are not responsible for the actions of Hamas.
What we stand for
We stand for a just and safe solution for all those directly affected by the conflict. This includes recognising Israel's right to exist, as well as supporting the right of the Palestinians to self-determination.
To put an end to the ongoing human suffering, we call for the cessation of the war, the release of hostages, and the unrestricted provision of humanitarian aid to those in urgent need.
