Travelling exhibitions and activities

The Anne Frank House works in Australia to share Anne’s story and promote education about the Second World War, Antisemitism, prejudice, human rights, and democracy.

We operate across Australia with a wide range of educational programs, built around our travelling exhibitions. These mobile, hands-on displays can be hosted in schools and community venues throughout the country, delivering engaging learning experiences directly to local audiences. Local Partner
We are proud to collaborate with Anne Frank Australia, an NGO based in Melbourne. This partner supports us in presenting our travelling exhibitions across the country. The exhibitions follow the peer-guide model, in which students aged 10–18 lead their fellow students through the display. Our partners train these young guides in Anne Frank’s life story and in the skills needed to confidently conduct tours.

History
Our activities in Australia began in 2000 with travelling exhibitions that share Anne Frank’s life and message. Since then, our work has centred on bringing these exhibitions to communities nationwide and equipping student peer guides with the training they need to guide other students and visitors.
